USAIN BOLT: World’s fastest man drives fast cars (Photos)
Widely regarded as the fastest man in the world, Jamaican star sprinter, Usain Bolt, is considered to be the greatest sprinter of all time due to his unprecedented dominance and achievements in sprint competition.
He’s currently the world and Olympic champion in 100 metres, 200 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay.
What kind of cars does the fastest man in the world drive? It wouldn’t possibly come as a surprise, but Bolt has a penchant for very fast and very expensive cars, and he freely speaks of it.
A world celebrity, often referred to as ‘the most marketable sportsperson,’ with huge endorsement contracts with companies like Puma, Gatorade, Virgin Media and more, Bolt doesn’t own just one car, he owns a fleet of them.
Back in 2012, Bolt was invited to drive the brand new 2013 Nissan GT-R at Nissan’s testing track in Yokohama. He enjoyed the car so much, that Nissan designed a custom GT-R for him, complete with gold paint, real gold trim, and his signature. According to reports, however, the car was later auctioned for charity on EBay.
Bolt is the proud owner of an impressive collection of sports cars, and he’s not afraid of showing them off.
Worth about $60million – over half of which stems from endorsement deals – with Puma alone paying him $9 million a year to wear their shoes at all times, on and off the track, the Jamaican superstar has spoilt himself with a Ferrari 458, a Ferrari F430, a BMW M3, a Nissan GT-R among others.
