Police officer threatens to kill 200 Nigerians if Buhari dies in office

A police officer identified as Inusa Saidu Biu who hails from Biu in Borno state has promised to kill no less than 200 people if President Muhammadu Buhari dies while in office.

The cop who is obviously a die-hard fan of Buhari made the threat on Facebook while also lashing out at Nigerians who make mockery of the president’s health status.

In his message on the social media platform, Inusa said some people are trying to kill the president.

“After they poisoned him, God did not let him die. Buhari the cat with nine lives; now, they want him to resign so that they will continue to steal our yam. No way! You enemy will die like mosquitoes before you, including those who are commenting negatively…if Buhari dies, I promise to kill 200 people,” Inusa wrote on Facebook.

Reacting to the post, CSP Moshood Jimoh, the Force Public Relations Officer, said the police headquarters is already aware of the post and investigations are underway to determine if Inusa is really a policemen before further action is taken.

“We have seen the post and we are investigating it. Anybody can post anything on social media. We first need to ascertain if that man is a policeman, and the necessary procedure will be taken,” the PPRO said.

Continuing, he added that; “A policeman should not make social comment on issues. We are investigating and will make the findings public very soon.”
