VP Osinbajo in crucial meeting with NSA, EFCC, ICPC heads

There is an ongoing meeting at Aso Villa, Abuja between Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and all heads of prosecuting agencies.

The agencies are the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Department of State Security, Office of the National Security Adviser, Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.

Why the reason for the meeting as at the time of filing this story is unknown, there are feelers however that it may not be unconnected with the recent setback anti-corruption crusade of the present administration has suffered in court.

Recall that just in one week alone four persons being prosecuted of corruption emerged victorious over the Federal Government in their corruptions cases.

Among the victors in court are Mike Ozekhome (SAN), Gosday Orubebe, wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience and Justice of the Federal High Court, Adeniyi Ademola.
