Daddy Freeze reacts to new church mobile payment app, says it absolutely makes no sense
Controversial radio personality Daddy Freeze has reacted to a new mobile paying option introduced recently in the Nigerian banking system, where church goers can now make all sorts of “Church payment” through a dedicated Mobile Banking App.
Daddy Freeze says it makes absolutely no sense for such an application to be developed while sharing screenshots on social media of some churches he found on the mobile banking App platform where users can pay tithe, offering and other monetary payments.
He also wondered why mosques or Buddhist temples don’t have accounts on public banking apps unlike most Pentecostal churches in Nigeria.
“How come mosques or Buddhist temples don’t have accounts on public banking apps? Are we worshiping God or are we worshiping money? This makes absolutely no sense to me! ~FRZ”
The fair skinned media personality has been at the forefront of campaigning against the payment of tithes in churches and has face-offs with Pastor E.A Adeboye of the Reedemed Christian Church of God and Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo of the Kingsway International Christian Center (KICC).
